Die Bestellbestätigung oder Rechnung bitte mit zum Tasting bringen.Zum Tasting mit Bastian Denkler vom deutschen Importeur Prineus suchen wir klassische Whiskys aus Bourbon, Wein-  und Sherryfässern aus dem Sortiment von Prineus aus. Unser viertes Tasting in der Gaststätte "Zur Dorfschenke" in Goldbach möchten wir 13.Februar 02.2026 19:30 Uhr Uhr veranstalten. Die Dorfschenke Goldbach zeigt dabei ihr Können mit Gerichten aus der Thüringer Küche. Im Einzelnen gibt es folgende Speisen: 1. Vorspeise::    Steckrübensüppchen 2. Hauptgang:  Zart geschmorte HirschkalbskeuleOchsenbäckchen dazu Thüringer grüne Klöße und Johannisbeerrotkohl 3. Nachspeise:  Bayrische Creme    Ist das eigentlich Thüringer Küche? ;-) ;-) Sieben ganz unterschiedliche Whiskys sollen neben der Kochkunst von Reinhardt und Maik im Vordergrund stehen. Und Bastian ist schon das zweite Mal zu Gast. Weils so schön war.

 Ben Nevis, 2005, 20 Jahre, Bourbon Hogshead, 55,0 % vol.Ebenfalls aus den Highlands stammt der edle Ben Nevis, der dank 20 Jahren im Bourbon Hogshead ganz old school antritt. Dem Aroma von Honigmelone und Fruchtscones folgen im Geschmack eine überraschende feine Rauchnote und üppige tropische Früchte, dazu Weingummis und salziges Lakritz. Very komplex! 

Ardmore, 2010, 8 years old, 46,0%, Amarone finish, cask no. 801439 - NEU Nose: Sugared candy, red wine and baked apple notes. Leicht rauchig, flambierte reife Banane, grüner Tee mit Kandis. Palate: Hints of demerara sugar, dark chocolate and some black pepper. Süß, Edelschinken mit Melone, Birnenkompott. Finish: Brings fruit flavours, with cherry jam, some nuttyness with salted liquorice.

    Caol Ila, 2014, 6 years old, 56,2%, Bourbon barrel no. 19891 – NEU Specially selected and bottled for Germany Nose: Peat smoke with some medicinal notes and harbour sea air. Palate: Lovely and silky smooth with some salted liquorice, hints of lemon and black pepper. Some crisp green apple notes mid palate with a cigar smoke coming through. Finish: A long, warm and satisfying finish with some saltiness and sweet peat. 

  . Ein knackiger Islay Malt ist der 11-jährige Caol Ila aus dem Sherry Butt. Er stellt unter Beweis, dass Sherry nicht automatisch dunkel in der Farbe bedeutet, dazu ist die Farbpalette von Sherry Fässern viel zu vielfältig. Herrlich maritim, mit süßem Torfrauch, etwas Zitrus und salzigem Lakritz – reichlich Islay in der Flasche.Caol Ila, 2009, 11 years, 54,4%, Sherry butt, cask no. 322973 Nose: A coastal nose with harbour aromas, sweet barley and peat smoke. Palate: Warming, some buttery notes, spiced ginger, lemon zest, smoked cured meats and salted liquorice. Finish: Has good length, creamy with butterscotch, more peat smoke and seaweed.

  . Linkwood, 2009, 11 years, 53,7%, Bourbon hogshead, cask no. 307137 Nose: Floral with some fresh peachy notes. Palate: Lovely and creamy with poached pears, lychee and some ripe banana. Finish: Warming with some Nutella, butterscotch and sugared almonds and nutmeg.

Bunnahabhain, 2013, 7 years, 55,5%, Refill Butt, cask no. 2 Make: “Staoisha” - heavily peated Nose: A nice Islay nose with iodine, seaweed and citrus. Palate: Warm with ashy notes, sweet peat, coffee and salted caramel. Finish: Lots of salted liquorice, some honey and charred fruit. Very well balanced for 7 year. A nice winter warmer. 

Ardmore, 2008, 13 years, 51,5%, Bourbon hogshead, cask no. 801133 Nose: A nice maritime nose with sweet barley and a hint of seaweed and brine. Palate: Is warming and full bodied with some toffee apple, apricot, ginger spice and toasted almonds. Finish: Has good length with herbal zest, poached pear and golden syrup

Royal Brackla, 2011, 10 years, 54,1%, Sherry butt, cask no. 900146 Nose: Has aromas of soft brown sugar, dried fruit and sherry. Palate: Creamy and warming with ginger spice and cinnamon. A nice sherried dram with chocolate, covered raisins, walnuts and vanilla. Finish: Long and sweet with more dried fruit and sherry notes.

  . Der Caol Ila hingegen präsentiert nach 7 Jahren Reifung die torfige Islay-Welt mit einem maritimen Start und ordentlich Torfrauch, aber auch frischer Minze und Zitrusnoten. Er verbleibt lange mit feiner Honigsüße.Caol Ila, 2014, 7 years, 54,1%, Refill Hogshead, cask no. 300331 Nose: A coastal nose with some peat smoke and peppermint leaves. Palate: Is warming, some subtle ginger spice with oatcakes. Give it time to open up and some citrus notes appear. Finish: Has good length, creamy with butterscotch and Scottish heathered honey.      

Island Blended Malt, 1999, 22 years, 46,5% Single Malts from the Islands of Mull, Orkney and Islay Nose: Sea-Spray, charcoal with mango and pineapple . Palate: Honey, dried Fruit, milk chocolate and sugared almonds. . Finish: Some subtle peat smoke, toasted oak and white pepper.

Glen Moray, 2007, 14 years old, 53,8%, Sherry Butt, cask no. 511438 Nose: A fruity nose with vanilla cupcakes and rum and raisin aromas. Palate: Bold and warming with gingerbread, lemon meringue pie and subtle pepper. Finish: Silky and creamy, some pecan notes with icing sugar coming through followed by sherry and crunchy brown sugar.  

Jura, 1992, 30 years old, 46,7%, Refill Hogshead, cask no. 8052 Nose: A nice nose with hints of stewed rhubarb and red berries. Palate: Velvety creamy with gooseberry jam, toffee apple, butterscotch and vanilla ice cream. Finish: Warming and smooth with some sherry coming through. Expect some salted liquorice and a little Italian expression coffee notes. .  

Wir konnten den Malt bei der Kirsch Hausmesse in Bremen probieren. Das ist definitiv  richtig leckerer Stoff.  

Donald und Andy Hart haben einen 14-jährigen Dailuaine für Wert befunden, unter ihrem „Maltman“-Label abgefüllt zu werden. Seine Reifung im Refill Hogshead führte zu schönen Aromen von Bienenwachs und frischen Pfannkuchen, gefolgt von Limette, Schokolade und Heidehonig – ein schöner eleganter Dram.

 Ben Nevis, 1999, 23 years old, 46,7%, Bourbon Hogshead, cask no. 181 Nose: A fruity nose with some peach, melon and orange peel aromas. Palate: The palate is a real fruit basket with papaya, guava and pineapple. Let it breathe and some milk chocolate notes come through. Finish: Expect a little Pina colada comimg through in the finish with some marshmallow.  

Longmorn, 2008, 14 years old, 53,6%, Refill Butt, cask no. 7117 Nose: On the nose there are peach notes, sugared shortbread, Bounty bar, with some subtle orange aromas. Palate: The palate is fruity and a little waxy with pineapple, guava and a little brown sugar. Finish: The finish is velvety smooth with milky coffee, poached pear and a little walnut cake.

Ruadh Maor, 2010, 12 years old, 46,0%, Madeira Finish, cask no. 305648 Specially selected for the German market Nose: The nose has coastal aromas with some sweet peat smoke. Palate: The palate is warming, some buttery notes, lemon zest with salted liquorice. Finish: The finish has good length, smoke with some summer berries and a hint of plum jam coming through.

Ledaig, 1996, 27 years old, 47,7%, Chateau Margau Finish, cask no. 7709 “A very unusual cask we have here, an un-peated Ledaig which is different from Tobermory. The fermentation times are longer, different cut points, different reflux settings.” Nose: The nose has some ripe pear and a little cooked strawberry. Palate: A smooth palate with chocolate, butterscotch and spiced ginger. Finish: The finish has a nice waxy quality with a touch of salted liquorice.
