The Single Malts of Scotland steht Synonym für konstant herausragende Abfüllungen. Nicht weiter verwunderlich, wenn man hinter die Kulissen der Marke schaut, die Teil des unabhängigen Abfüllers Elixir Distillers sind. Hier ziehen zwei der wohl renommiertesten Whiskyhändler weltweit die Fäden: die Brüder Rajbir Singh und Sukhinder Singh. Starke Fässer, fassstark abgefüllt – die Signatory Vintage Cask Strength Collection in der Zusammenfassung. Die Reihe für anspruchsvolle Genießer wächst in dieser Woche um exklusive Einzelfassabfüllungen. Destilliert wurden alle in Brennereien der Speyside. Senior der Runde ist ein 21-jähriger Single Malt von Braeval, der höchstgelegenen Destillerie Schottlands. Der Whisky wurde gebrannt noch bevor die Brennerei 2001 die Tore schloss. 2008 wagte sie den Neustart. Originalabfüllungen von Braeval gibt es nicht.
