Ein 15-jähriger Auchroisk begeistert mit einem fruchtigen Antritt, bevor Noten von Milchschokolade, kandierten Mandeln und Fudge die Hauptrolle übernehmen, die sich im Finish in feinem Marzipan-Aroma verlieren. Die Fassart ist als Hogshead deklariert, aufgrund der Farbe lässt sich auf ein ex Sherry Hogshead schließen.

 

Auchroisk, 2008, 15 years old, 53,9%, Hogshead, cask no. 7002 Nose: The nose has some stone fruit aromas with hints of lemon sherbet candy. Palate: The palate is velvety in texture with some milk chocolate, sugared almonds and fudge. Let it breathe and some more fruit flavours appear, green apple, pear and a little candy floss coming through. Finish: The finish is smooth and warming with some subtle marzipan
